What is the treatment with dendritic cells (DK) ?
It is a type of immunotherapy that is currently used as a completely personalized anticancer therapy. It belongs to the cellular immunotherapies.
In general, blood is collected from the patient and isolated from it, on the one hand, circulating cancer cells (CCC), on the other hand, lymphocytes. CCCs multiply in cell culture. Lymphocytes are incubated with CKD to differentiate into dendritic cells, specifically "initiated" into the cancer antigens of that particular patient. Their number is determined and delivered to the treating physician, who assigns them back to the patient. Under the influence of other adjuvant therapies (eg hyperthermia, drugs, etc.), dendritic cells present cancer antigens to the patient's T-lymphocytes. These differentiate and develop cellular series that are toxic, especially for tumor cells.
- - Is there a relationship between dendritic cells and oncothermia?
- What are dendritic cells?
- After all, how are cancer cells killed?
With personalization in oncology we are able to revive the patient's hope.
While we do not despise the therapeutic means of conventional oncology, on the contrary, we enrich the treatment....
